Gameplay Example: Rattrap

This is a session of Battle of the Gods I played at a friend's place.

The world we made is a dead rat in a mouse trap where maggot-folk find beauty in areas untouched by the miasma surrounding the “land”

It’s both literally a dead rat & a lived in world, I guess? Below is what our world looked like by the end of the game. Each table presented is a page detailing the world or a character that I've transcribed here.

This first sheet is all the information about our world, reflected by the state it was in at the end of the game.

Iri leaves, taking the moon.
The people (maggots?) leave the world in exodus.

Iri the Unthinking, a beautiful beetle found near Ratrap. She carries a shard of glass that contains the moon. Theona is said to adore Iri's beauty, but Iri never seems to notice.

After we had created these gods, we each made the roll to signify the Battle of the Gods and determine its result. After spending a moment taking our turns and interpreting what happened, this was the story of how this event changed Rattrap.

It began when Theona foresaw Hue-mown's approach. He came because Iri started laying countless eggs, filling Rattrap with her spawn. Quarwen tricked Theona with a gift: dazzling bracelets that were actually manacles. They died fighting each other. Hue-mown got rid of the rat and killed Iri's children. Iri flew away never to be seen again. The maggot-people found their world unlivable and left in exodus.

Thus ending the Battle of the Gods.
